Introduction
In order to complement the multidisciplinary content and provide a basis for working with other knowledge objects, as well as to promote a cultural immersion for the students in various environments, we have scheduled a pedagogical outing for your child’s class, which will take place in the following format:

Sciences (Elementary) / Biology (High School): Earth and Universe; dynamics of nature (weathering, erosion); relationships between humans and the environment; conservation and environmental impacts.
Geography: relief and forms of the Earth's surface; natural landscapes and their transformations; location of Campos Gerais and the park in the territory; conservation units and land use.
Environmental Education (cross-cutting theme): preservation of nature, sustainable use, conscious tourism.
THEMATIC FOCUS OF THE ITINERARY
Recognise Vila Velha State Park as an important conservation unit for the protection of the natural heritage of the Campos Gerais region.
Understand the formation of sandstones, the furnas, and the Lagoa Dourada as a result of long-term geological processes.
Identify evidence of weathering and erosion in the observed landscape.
Relate contents of Sciences and Geography to the concrete reality of the park and the region.
Reflect on the importance of environmental conservation, responsible tourism, and adherence to the rules of use in conservation units.
