In order to complement the multidisciplinary content and provide a basis for working with other knowledge objects, as well as to promote a cultural immersion for students in various environments, we have scheduled a pedagogical outing for your child’s class, which will take place in the following format:

ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION, COASTAL AND CAIÇARA CULTURE

Date - Check Availability

Departure and arrival – at the school.

Boarding – 7:15 AM & Disembarkation – 5:30 PM

Location – Paranaguá

CURRICULAR COMPONENTS

Science / Biology: coastal ecosystems, Atlantic Forest, biodiversity, natural cycles; anthropogenic impacts, pollution, conservation.
Geography: coast, islands, climate, coastal relief; Conservation Units, land use and occupation; relationships between tourism, economy, and environment.
History / Sociology: traditional communities, caiçara culture; historical construction of Honey Island as a territory; public policies and environmental protection movements.
Art and Portuguese Language: reading landscapes, producing visual records (drawings, photos); producing narratives, travel chronicles, informative and argumentative texts.
The specific skills will be detailed according to the year/grade attended, and may be attached to the project.

Conservation and Conservation Units focus on usage rules, importance of protection, visitor limits, scientific research.
Coastal Ecosystems and Atlantic Forest observation of vegetation, animals, beaches, cliffs, natural processes.
Sustainable Tourism and Local Communities discussion about tourism, services, local economy, problems and opportunities.
Historical and Cultural Heritage Lighthouse, Fortress, Cave, caiçara culture, stories and legends of the island.
