Introduction
In order to complement the multidisciplinary content and provide a basis for working with other objects of knowledge, as well as to promote a cultural immersion for the students in various environments, we have scheduled a pedagogical outing for your child’s class, which will take place in the following format:

DUTCH IMMIGRATION, COOPERATIVISM, AND OPEN-AIR MUSEUM

CURRICULAR COMPONENTS
History: European immigration; formation of colonies; regional history of Campos Gerais; cooperativism.
Geography: Campos Gerais; land use; dairy farming; cultural tourism.
Sociology/Economics: cooperatives, associativism, collective work; regional development.
Art: typical architecture, constructed landscape, photography and observational drawing.
Portuguese Language: reading expository texts, panels, brochures; production of reports, travel chronicles, interviews.
THEMATIC FOCUSES OF THE ITINERARY
Recognize Carambeí as a city of Dutch origin located in the Campos Gerais region.
Identify elements of Dutch culture (architecture, religion, spatial organization) in the Historical Village and other areas of the park.
Understand the Historical Park as an open-air museum and a space for memory preservation.
Learn about the history of dairy cooperativism (Batavo/Frísia) and its economic and social importance to Carambeí.
Develop attitudes of respect for heritage, local communities, and visitation rules.
